Download the master suite from the adobe site. install as trial, then come back here and follow the instructions. I had a few questions: I did the textedit in comment 10, but as far as blocking adobe from “phoning home”, what do you block exactly? I only ask because “adobe updates” is under that list of things I blocked although comment 10 said updating the program was possible. any ideas?

tried this on my mac. i get nothing now except license expired. uninstalled then reinstalled. still nothing after following instructions. will i ever be able to use adobe again?

Is there any way to block Adobe from checking and de-activating the serial number if I’m NOT using MAC operating system? Thanks

First, love this site…..
But for huge files like this can it be put up on ftp or torrent, as i am sure most people as well as myself have had nothing but problems. and afterall it only takes one dam file to ruin it..

Beware this may have the trojan that has just been found. I installed this and a couple of weeks later someone got my Paypal password. This may contain a keylogger Pirated copies of Photoshop CS 4 are reported by Intego (http://www.intego.com/news/ism0902.asp) to contain malware. On January 16th, a copy of Photoshop CS 4 containing the trojan variant was seeded to a number of peer-2-peer networks. This trojan has been labeled OSX.Trojan.iServices.B and is the second variant discovered in the wild — variant A was found earlier this month in pirated copies of iWork 09. Like its predecessor, variant B obtains root privileges, and notifies the remote host of the infected computer’s location on the Internet. It is recommended users avoid downloading pirated copies of these programs. Furthermore, it is anticipated that new variants will be discovered in the coming months in other software packages distributed by third parties over the Internet. This is a great website but be careful of this download.
